123 Drawing Lubricant
This lubricant is an invert emulsion that thickens while water is added. The viscosity changes from thin to thick which makes it an ideal drawing lubricant. The product was approved by General Motors in 1979. Metal Mates 123 Drawing Lubricant is easily cleaned and is weldable. This emulsifiable product was approved by GM and lent itself to cleaner parts, dies and improved housekeeping. This product contains no chlorine, pigments, or waxes.

When splitting on sharp radiis and scoring on deep draws occur, Metal Mates 123 Drawing Lubricant (an invert emulsion) is ideal to solve these issues. Metal Mates 123 has reduced scrap rates and increased productivity due to its thicksotropsic nature. When sprayed, it stays where it is applied without running off die surfaces or steel.
